Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience in Spark or similar distributed processing frameworks.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift).
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT tools and frameworks (dbt, Airflow, Fivetran).
• Experience with data modeling, data governance, and data quality frameworks.
• Familiarity with streaming technologies (Kafka, Kinesis, Pub/Sub).
• Understanding of Canadian data privacy regulations (PIPEDA).
• Experience with infrastructure as code and CI/CD for data pipelines.
