Data Engineer

Agilus is recruiting for a Data Engineer in the IT Sector in a hybrid work environment in Toronto, Ontario.

Responsibilities:

1. Accelerate data-informed decision-making to transform our product and engineering strategy.
2. Architect scalable data models and build efficient and reliable ETL pipelines to bring data to our core data warehouse.
3. Design and develop highly scalable and reliable data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure smooth data flow and accessibility (Informatica IICS preferred).
4. Demonstrably deep understanding of SQL and analytical data warehouses (Snowflake preferred).

Successful candidates will have:

1. Minimum of five years of experience as a data engineer focusing on building scalable data pipelines and data warehouses.
2. Strong proficiency in Snowflake, AWS Cloud, SQL, Unix, Python, and API integrations.
3. Strong knowledge of data warehousing and modelling concepts, with experience designing and building large-scale data solutions.
4. Experience developing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration solutions.
