On behalf of our Energy client, Procom is searching for a Data Engineer for a long-term role. This position is an onsite position at our client’s Regina office.

The Digital, Technology, and Security (DT&S) group at our Energy client is seeking a Data Engineer to support the increasing need for robust data ingestion, transformation, and modeling. The project involves designing and maintaining data architectures to support analytics, integrating data from both legacy and modern systems, and ensuring data is accessible, reliable, and optimized for organizational use.

• Create and maintain ELT processes
• Assemble complex datasets per business requirements
• Consult on data management practices and governance
• Automate processes and optimize data delivery
• Build infrastructure for data extraction, transformation, and loading
• Address technical issues and support data infrastructure needs
• Develop tools for analytics and data science teams
• Collaborate with analytics experts to enhance data systems
• Provide insights on database integration and storage needs
• Monitor trends and emerging technologies
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science / Engineering / Data Sciences or 5 years related experience
• 5 years' experience in the last 7 years in modern data management principles
