Job summary

VLink Inc is seeking a senior data engineer for its Montreal, QC location in a Hybrid role (3 days onsite). The contract position spans 12 months and focuses on Snowflake-based data warehousing, modeling of semi-structured data, REST API integration, and cloud tooling with Azure and Databricks to support financial reporting.

The role requires hands-on experience with Snowflake, Talend, SQL/PLSQL, and data modernization across multiple platforms.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Hands on experience 5+ years in Snowflake and virtual data warehouse set up
• Snowflake data modeling
• Must have done projects where semi-structured and unstructured data is brought into Snowflake
• Deep understanding of using REST API
• Hands on background in Talend 5+ years
• Hands on experience in SQL and PL SQL
• Knowledge of Azure
• Must have experiences with Databricks/Snowflake/AI/financial Reporting
