Job summary

Pizza Hut Canada is seeking a Commercial Planning Analyst to support the annual operating plan, quarterly forecasts, and franchise profitability through data analysis, forecasting, and market trend evaluation. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, you will translate insights into actionable plans.

You will work with cross-functional teams to develop financial models, monitor performance, and provide weekly insights to leadership. Experience in QSR or franchise environments is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights for the wider business.
• Working knowledge with data modelling, power query and power BI.
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders, with demonstrated ability to work effectively with franchisees and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong relationship building skills; ability to challenge the norm and provide alternative solutions and creative solutions to problems.
• Proven adaptability to a fast-moving environment and high sense of urgency and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex data sets to identify market trends, sales performance, and forecast future demand.
• Develop detailed reports and presentations that provide actionable insights for strategic decision-making, with regular reporting to leadership teams.
• Conduct in-depth sales analysis to monitor trends, identify opportunities, and evaluate performance metrics.
• Prepare comprehensive sales reports highlighting key findings and opportunities.
• Collaborate with sales and digital teams to develop growth strategies.
• Deliver weekly sales insights and presentations to leadership teams.
• Assist in creating the AOP and quarterly forecast, ensuring alignment with objectives.
• Incorporate data-driven insights into the AOP and forecasts with leadership.
• Monitor and report on progress of the AOP and forecast, adjusting as needed.
• Collaborate with franchisees to analyze financial performance and identify improvements.
• Develop tools and frameworks to support franchisees in optimizing operations.
