Your Job

DarkVision, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, is looking for a Data (Python) Developer to join the Data Development Team in North Vancouver, BC. In this role, you will work collaboratively with teammates and other departments in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment to develop and advance the data analysis deliverables supporting the multi-million-dollar operations of our customers.

You will support the Data Analysis Delivery team by writing and maintaining scripts to automate analysis workflows. You will work with the Product team to prototype new deliverables, and collaborate with the Engineering Team to diagnose issues and suggest improvements.

This full-time position is 100% on-site at our HQ in North Vancouver, BC, offering amenities like a gym, squash court, climbing wall, and steam room.

Our Team

DarkVision's acoustic imaging technology captures terabytes of high-fidelity data. Our Data Analysis Development team supports the Data Analysis Delivery team by building tools, improving deliverables, and optimizing processes.

There will always be new software tools and scripts to develop, new technologies to explore, and ways to improve efficiency and scalability. A detail-oriented mindset, proactive work ethic, and multidisciplinary perspective are essential.

What You Will Do
  1. Develop and maintain scripts to automate analysis workflows.
  2. Create analysis dashboards for project tracking and KPIs.
  3. Streamline analysis procedures for scalable workflows.
  4. Collaborate with analysts, Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to troubleshoot and document issues.
  5. Analyze test data for new technologies and deliverables.
  6. Innovate data visualization and representation methods.
  7. Assist in technical conference paper writing with the Product team.
  8. Debug analysis workflow issues and document findings.
  9. Coordinate with Research, Machine Learning, Software, and Product teams to meet data needs.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Able to work 100% on-site in North Vancouver.
  • At least three years of professional Python experience.
  • Experience developing production code with various Python libraries.
