Job summary

Bell's Procurement team in Canada seeks a Senior Buyer/Procurement professional to lead end-to-end OFCI sourcing for data centre projects. You will manage purchase orders, conduct commercial reviews, and coordinate supplier onboarding with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.

The role requires a background in procurement or strategic sourcing, working across Accounts Payable, Legal, and Engineering, and a strong emphasis on governance, risk, and supplier performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, engineering, business, finance, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, construction procurement, or critical infrastructure.
• Experience supporting data centre projects, OFCI equipment, long‑lead capital equipment, competitive RFx processes, contract and purchase‑order administration, and procurement systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support end‑to‑end sourcing activities for assigned OFCI categories, including market research, supplier identification, RFx issuance, bidder communications, commercial clarification, bid tabulation, total‑cost analysis, negotiation support, award recommendations, and maintenance of a complete sourcing record.
• Create, issue, and administer purchase orders for high‑value OFCI equipment, including generators and cooling systems, ensuring accuracy of scope, quantities, pricing, delivery terms, and approvals.
• Review supplier proposals for completeness and compliance, compare pricing and terms, and support award recommendations; track change orders and maintain budget visibility.
• Coordinate supplier onboarding, risk assessments, and governance controls; escalate risks and ensure compliance before award or PO release.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Construction, Finance, Accounts Payable, and site teams to validate technical specifications, delivery priorities, and award readiness.
