Reboot Monkey seeks a Data Center Technician for a full-time, on-site role in West Chester, USA. The technician will support mission-critical infrastructure, perform hardware installation, cabling, server racking, and documentation, while coordinating with remote NOC and client teams.

Candidates should have 2+ years in data center or IT infrastructure and strong cabling/ server hardware experience. On-site work and reliable transportation are required with preferred DCIM/ticketing knowledge.

Qualifications

• 2+ years data center or IT infrastructure experience.
• Strong cabling skills (Cat5e/6/6a, single-mode/multi-mode fiber).
• Experience with server hardware (Dell, HP, Supermicro).
• Professional communication in English.
• Own transportation and ability to work on-site.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform hardware installations, decommissions, and migrations
• Execute structured cabling (copper and fiber optic)
• Conduct server racking, stacking, and labeling
• Perform cross-connects and patch panel work
• Troubleshoot connectivity and hardware issues
• Document all work with photos and detailed notes
• Coordinate with remote NOC and client teams
• 2+ years data center or IT infrastructure experience

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in raised floor environments

• Experience with DCIM and ticketing systems - preferred
• Familiarity with major colocation providers - preferred
