Job summary

Reboot Monkey is seeking a Data Center Technician to join our Pointe-Claire facility. This full-time, on-site role supports critical infrastructure and requires hands-on work with servers, networking gear, and structured cabling.

You will monitor power, cooling, and security systems, respond to incidents, document assets, and collaborate with engineering teams. Certifications and on-site readiness are preferred to ensure reliable operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years data center operations experience.
• Data center certifications and vendor certs are preferred.
• Experience with DCIM platforms and ITIL practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment.
• Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Execute hardware deployments and decommissions.
• Monitor environmental systems (power, cooling, security).
• Respond to incidents and perform troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate documentation and asset tracking.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams.
• Participate in capacity planning and upgrades.

Compensation & Benefits

C$55,000-70,000/year (CAD annual)

Work Schedule

• Full‑time permanent position
• Standard business hours with on‑call rotation
• Shift differentials for nights/weekends when applicable

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment
• Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber optic)

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in demanding environments
• Data center certifications (CDCP, CDCS, CDCE) - preferred
