Job summary

Capco is seeking an experienced Data Architect to lead end-to-end data architecture initiatives across client engagements in Toronto, Canada. You will design scalable data flows, integration patterns, and governance frameworks that connect systems, platforms, and data sources.

You’ll collaborate with technology, data, business, and engineering teams to translate complex requirements into practical architectures that support near-term delivery and long-term strategy.

Qualifications

• Strong experience as a Data Architect or in a senior data architecture role within complex enterprise environments.
• Deep understanding of data flows, data integration, data modelling, data sources, data platforms, and the full data lifecycle.
• Experience designing architectures that bring together multiple systems, applications, databases, APIs, and internal and external data sources.
• Strong understanding of modern data architecture principles, including cloud-based data platforms, data governance, data quality, security, and integration patterns.
• Ability to communicate complex data concepts clearly and work effectively with technical specialists, business stakeholders, and senior client teams.

Capco is looking for an experienced Data Architect with deep expertise across data flows, data integration, data sources, and enterprise data architecture. You’ll work with clients to understand how data moves across complex technology landscapes and design robust, scalable architectures that connect systems, platforms, and data sources effectively.

This is a hands‑on architecture role for someone who understands data end to end – from source and ingestion through integration, transformation, storage, governance, and consumption. You’ll collaborate with technology, data, business, and engineering teams to turn complex requirements into practical data architectures that support both immediate delivery and long‑term strategic goals.

What You’ll Do

• Design end-to-end data architectures covering data sources, flows, integration patterns, storage, transformation, and consumption.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience delivering data architecture within financial services, banking, capital markets, insurance, or other regulated environments.
• Knowledge of modern cloud data platforms, data lakes, lakehouses, warehouses, streaming technologies, and event‑driven architectures.
• Experience with data lineage, metadata management, master data management, and enterprise data governance.
• Experience supporting large‑scale data modernization, migration, integration, or transformation programmes.

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this position is listed below. Additionally, this position may also be eligible to receive an annual discretionary/variable bonus payment.

Our compensation policies and salary ranges are designed to allow our people to progress through the salary range as they demonstrate strong performance and develop in their role over time. The base pay offered to selected candidates will be within the salary range and the placement will vary based upon a variety of factors, including, but not limited to job‑related knowledge, skills, experience and internal equity.
