Job description

Agilus is recruiting for a Data Architect in the IT Sector in a hybrid work environment in Toronto, Ontario.

A typical day:

1. Responsible for guiding the data architecture domain by addressing the organization’s highest-priority data-related issues.
2. Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure that data is used in a responsible and ethical manner. This includes establishing data lineage, defining data access controls, and implementing data security measures.
3. Ensure that the data used to train AI models is accurate, complete, and consistent. This involves implementing data cleansing and data validation processes to identify and correct errors in the data.
4. Deliver high-quality related outcomes, including data services/processes, data flow and consumption, and system enhancements by existing standards and guidelines.
5. Enhance the enterprise data warehouse or data lake for the purpose of analytics using modern data storage technologies and methodologies.

Successful candidates will have:

1. 7+ years of experience in data architecture, including data modelling, data governance, master data management, data quality, data stewardship, and data warehousing/business intelligence.
2. 7+ years of data integration experience, data modelling and developing backend services using APIs and Stored Procedures.
3. 5+ years of experience working with various technology tools: AWS S3 buckets, Snowflake, Informatica IICS, Informatica Data Quality.
4. Extensive experience in establishing data warehouses/lakes, with solid experience in Cloud-based data storage solutions (AWS S3 specifically).
