Sonepar Canada is seeking a Data Architect to design and evolve enterprise data architecture, bridging business, data governance and IT teams to ensure trusted, high-quality data across systems.
You will translate business requirements into scalable, governed data structures, own governance deliverables for domains, contribute to canonical data models, and align with privacy, security, and enterprise architecture strategies.

The Data Architect is responsible for designing and evolving enterprise data architecture while actively contributing to the execution and continuous improvement of the organization’s data governance framework.
This role plays a critical function within the enterprise data governance framework and combines hands-on data modelling and design with ownership of key governance deliverables at the domain or project level, while ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements (e.g., privacy, security) and enterprise architecture strategies.
The position acts as a bridge between business, data governance, and technical teams, enabling trusted, high-quality data across systems.
