With a competitive salary and commission structure, as well as various benefits, this position is ideal for someone passionate about technology and collaboration. Flexible work options available in British Columbia.
Are you a technical expert in the data communications field with a talent for building relationships and supporting sales success? We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Data and Communication Specialist to join the team of one of our clients, a prominent leader in the B2B wholesale and electrical distribution industry. This pivotal sales role is based in British Columbia, with flexibility for candidates in Surrey, Coquitlam, or other locations near a branch office. As a Data and Communication Specialist, you will be the ultimate subject matter expert for an extensive portfolio of data and communications products, playing a crucial role in driving business growth across the province.

You will be instrumental during the later stages of the sales cycle, providing the technical insights and solution designs that close deals and build lasting customer trust. As a Data and Communication Specialist, you will work directly with suppliers to negotiate pricing, conduct informative learning sessions for colleagues and clients, and collaborate with management to identify and capitalize on new market opportunities. This role is a cornerstone of the company's sales strategy, focusing on adding value and technical authority. Over time, you will cultivate your own portfolio of key accounts, becoming their go-to resource for all data and communication needs.
This role requires a unique blend of technical acumen and strong interpersonal skills. You are not just providing information; you are building confidence and enabling the entire sales force to succeed. As the go-to technical resource, your ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively will be essential.
