Demonware in Vancouver is seeking a Winter 2027 Co-Op in Data Analytics to analyze gaming data and build dashboards that guide product strategy. This on-site role follows a hybrid schedule (4 days in the office) with relocation possibilities depending on eligibility.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in a post-secondary program, available for a 7-month term starting January 2027, and ready to demonstrate strong SQL, Python, and data-analysis skills via an automated coding assessment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary or graduate program.
• Expected graduation between December 2027 – June 2029.
• Available for a 7-month, in-person co-op starting January 2027.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Resume and transcript required.
• As part of the interview process, candidates will be required to complete an automated coding assessment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret data from a variety of systems, including fraud, disruptive behavior, and prosocial behavior in gaming communities.
• Build, maintain, and improve dashboards and reports that inform decision-making and strategy.
• Identify and interpret trends and anomalies in the data and offer opinions for product strategy.
• Filter, clean, and validate data to ensure accuracy and reliability in reporting and analysis.
• Present data findings and recommendations to the Product team and other stakeholders.
• Proactively surface insights to improve player experience, reduce fraud, and foster positive behavior.
• Collaborate with Activision data science/machine learning teams and game studios.
• Be inquisitive about the “why” behind the data within the Demonware product team.
