Job summary

CDW Canada Corporation is seeking an Associate Consultant, Data & Analytics to help clients turn data into AI-ready insights. You will design Power BI reports, semantic models, and data pipelines in Microsoft Fabric and Azure, while supporting assessments and training workshops for clients.

The role involves direct customer engagement, translating business needs into technical requirements, and collaborating with consultants and offshore teams to deliver impactful BI solutions and data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Analytics, or equivalent experience.
• 2-4 years hands-on experience in BI, analytics engineering or data engineering, ideally in a consulting or client-facing role.
• Strong Power BI skills including star-schema modeling, DAX, Power Query (M), report design, licensing, workspaces, security and access management.
• Proficiency in SQL, working knowledge of Python, and experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and API integration.
• Ability to articulate complex data concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design and build Power BI reports, dashboards and semantic models with strong data modelling and DAX.
• Build and maintain data pipelines, dataflows, lakehouses and warehouses in Fabric and Azure.
• Connect to APIs and business applications like ServiceNow, Salesforce and ERP platforms.
• Prepare and facilitate Power BI and Fabric training and create handover materials for client teams.
• Review delivery work from offshore teams and identify opportunities to share with sales.
