Job description

The Data Analyst will report to the Director, Consulting. The Data Analyst inputs, collects, and presents data to support the Wellness and Disability department in making informed decisions and enhancing performance.

What You Will Do
  1. Data Gathering and Analysis: Manage, export, and input data from our absence management software, including renewal data into Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Perform high-volume data entry into relevant documents.
  2. Reporting: Prepare monthly and quarterly experience reports in Excel and support internal reporting needs.
  3. Presentations: Draft or finalize presentation documents, including printing and binding as needed.
  4. Review Documentation: Examine carrier booklets, contracts, and collective agreements, noting differences from expected standards.
  5. Project Support: Contribute to various special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
  6. Attention to Detail: Ensure data completeness and accuracy.
  7. Time Management: Maintain appropriate turnaround times for all data entry tasks.
  8. Collaboration: Engage with stakeholders and team members to accomplish daily tasks.
  9. Data Entry: Execute data entry tasks aligned with service level agreements and client demands.
  10. Administrative Tasks: Handle administrative inquiries and ad-hoc tasks as required.
What You Will Bring
  1. 1-2 years of experience in data analysis or equivalent training.
  2. Post-secondary diploma in a related field, such as business administration, or relevant work experience and education.
  3. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and Access is an asset.
  4. Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.
  5. Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately over long periods.
  6. Effective multitasking and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  8. Good judgment, reliability, and professionalism.
  9. Bilingual in English and French is an asset.
