About the Role & Team

The Product Data Insights & Analytics team aims to develop high-quality, sustainable data-driven solutions to improve profitability, growth, and the user experience of our digital products. As a Data Analyst, you'll collaborate with key product stakeholder groups to leverage data for tracking product feature performance, making informed decisions, and achieving goals. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, a passion for data, a background in quantitative analysis, and an interest in digital products.

About the Work

As a key member of our product analytics team, you will:

  • Work with complex data sets to answer questions and uncover insights on product features.
  • Create custom reports, perform analyses, and present clear recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Develop a deep understanding of user interactions with ESPN Bet, Hollywood Casino, theScore Bet, and theScore apps and websites.
  • Support Intermediate & Senior Data Analysts on project needs and data issues related to analysis and modeling.
  • Assist with the implementation and adoption of data exploration tools across the organization.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to build data pipelines and resolve related issues.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends in media, sports betting analytics, and marketing industries.
About You
  • University degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL, with the ability to write and troubleshoot complex queries.
  • Experience with data exploration tools such as Looker, Mode, or Amplitude.
  • A passion for solving analytical problems using quantitative methods.
  • Ability to present complex data clearly to business stakeholders.
  • Ability to focus in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Eager to learn and help others grow.
