Job Summary

We are seeking a fully remote Summer Student - Data Analyst Administrator for Summer 2025 for our Operations Enablement Team based out of the Senneville site. As a Data Analyst Administrator, you will collaborate with the Global Safety Assessment Team by assisting the digitalization of harmonized training records in a Learning Management System (LMS). This position is responsible for assisting in the coordination of project activities, maintenance and updating of the project schedules, ensuring data accuracy, managing assignments, monitoring progress, and communicating to the project team often. This position works closely with the project manager and the project team.


Primary Responsibilities

  1. Review selected data for accuracy against the provided reference values.
  2. Flag inconsistencies and work with the team to correct the quality/completeness of the data.
  3. Utilize standard spreadsheets to capture required details of assigned reviews.
  4. Prepare summary of observations.
  5. Work with the team to remediate findings.
  6. Provide regular updates on progress and communicate any impediment.
  7. Assisting the project manager with administrative duties and processes.
  8. Reporting on team and project performance.
  9. Alerting the project manager to issues as they arise.
  10. Obtaining and performing data analytics across multiple data sources.
  11. Fostering positive relationships with project team members.
  12. Creation and maintenance of project management tools, reports, and SharePoint sites.
  13. In conjunction with users and managers, defining requirements/user stories, documenting specifications, implementing and supporting operational information systems.
  14. Scheduling meetings and keeping minutes.

Job Qualifications

We are looking for the following minimum qualifications for this role:

  1. Student currently enrolled (or recent graduate) in an accredited college/university degree program (Undergrad or Graduate) in biological sciences, business management preferred or related discipline.
  2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel is required.
  3. Must be willing to be trained as a LMS system administrator.
  4. Proficient in speaking and understanding both English and French.
  5. Must be able to perform effectively as a team member, maintain a positive work atmosphere, communicate effectively, and interact in a professional manner with coworkers, and team members.
  6. Ability to multi-task, excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail required.
  7. Must possess analytical thinking and problem-solving skills and be able to prioritize and re-evaluate priorities as situations arise.
  8. Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects with a strong attention to detail.
  9. Creativity and ability to learn new technologies quickly and ability to work independently and be proactive is required.
