Job description

Our Client, a Banking company, is looking for a Data Analyst III for their Toronto, ON/Hybrid location.

Responsibilities:
  1. Managing multiple projects.
  2. Writing SQL queries.
  3. Testing and ensuring data quality.
  4. Interacting with stakeholders at various levels within the Client organization.
Requirements:
  1. Proficiency in SQL, Macros, VBA (creating queries), SAS, and Selenium, with hands-on analytics experience.
  2. Major banking experience and an IT QA background.
  3. Experience with test automation and deep dive investigations.
  4. Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage senior audiences.
  5. Expertise in AML transaction monitoring and customer risk rating.
  6. Ability to lead complex projects independently, deliver testing artifacts, and obtain sign-offs.
  7. Ability to define automation strategies and support, mentor, and guide junior analysts.
  8. Strong ownership mentality, resilience, and ability to work in an agile environment with multiple tasks.
  9. Attention to detail, analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
  10. High proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, charts) and PowerPoint.
  11. Strong interpersonal skills to influence and manage diverse stakeholders.
  12. 5-7 years of relevant experience.
