Job description

Our client, a banking company, is seeking a Data Analyst III for their Toronto, ON/Hybrid location.

Responsibilities:
  • Enable the successful implementation of a Data Strategy Roadmap to enhance Change Management reporting and data-driven insights for executive leadership.
  • Focus on centralizing data from multiple sources into a master database to facilitate reporting through data visualization tools.
Requirements:
  • Technical Skills (5-7 years of experience):
  • MS Excel: Advanced (Power Query, ETL, Power Platforms, VBA)
  • JIRA: Proficient in JQL (JIRA Query Language)
  • Confluence: Experience with Confluence Forms and Macros
  • Power BI and/or Tableau: Strong skills
  • Experience with Data Frameworks with other Financial Institutions
  • Ability to craft a compelling story using PowerPoint
  • High curiosity, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written
  • Collaborative mindset and relationship-building abilities, capable of working independently
  • Good judgment in decision-making
  • Ability to manage complex projects and lead effectively
  • Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable working through ambiguity
