Position Overview

Under the guidance of the Senior Manager, Information Systems, the Data Analyst will leverage their technical skills to develop data automation solutions, ensure data integrity, and support fundraising objectives through data analysis and management.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly to IS requests, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Develop and maintain automated processes to reduce manual work.
  • Collaborate with business teams to understand their data needs and support their objectives.
  • Extract data to support fundraising efforts.
  • Manage data uploads, imports, and mailing lists, ensuring accuracy.
  • Create and update data elements in the CRM, maintaining data quality.
  • Perform ongoing database integrity checks and recommend improvements.
  • Train staff on CRM usage, including queries, reports, and exports.
  • Identify and implement process improvements.
  • Maintain system documentation as needed.
Qualifications and Competencies
  • Bachelor’s degree, diploma, or relevant experience in Information Systems Management, Database Administration, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in database administration or information systems, preferably in fundraising.
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases and reporting tools.
  • Expertise in SQL Server Integration Services, SQL Server, Python, and/or .NET.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle large datasets accurately.
  • Experience with APIs and processing API results.
  • Ability to manage multiple requests concurrently under varying deadlines.
  • Experience with CRMs is preferred; Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience is an asset.
Total Rewards Package

The salary range is $65,000 - $73,000, based on experience and qualifications. Benefits include HOOPP pension, a hybrid work environment (minimum two days in-office), and Sunny Days (long weekend closures before summer and Christmas).
