Data Analyst (Co-op)

Preferred Co-op Term: 4 months (Starting September 2025)

Location: Mississauga, ON or Burnaby, BC

Maple Reinders Constructors is currently seeking a Data Analyst (Co-op Student) to join our operations team.

As a Data Analyst (Co-op Student) in our operations division, you will have the opportunity to mine and analyze construction project and financial reporting data stored in various spreadsheets, identify trends, issues, and opportunities to improve effectiveness & efficiency. As Maple Reinders is a growing organization, we are continually winning new work, larger projects, and with that come new experiences and challenges.

Responsibilities include:

• Design, build, and maintain analytical models that mine large sets of structured and semi-structured data to find insights and correlations.
• Apply intellectual curiosity and deep analytical thinking to mine large data sets for insights and correlations.
• Develop analyses to illustrate business trends and identify areas of business opportunities.
• Distill data into findings and prepare results for presentation to management for decision-making.
• Engage stakeholders to understand informational pain points and drive analytics solutions that address them.

Candidate requirements:

• Full-time student enrolled in a related post-secondary program.
• Recent graduate of a University Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Business Management.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience working in Microsoft Excel, database management, and performing data manipulation and reporting.

Additional information:

• Travel may be required on a case-by-case basis.

Pay Rate: $21-$26/hour, based on education and experience.
