The EA Marketing Analytics team is looking for an analytics professional to take on the role of Lead Analyst in Austin, TX, Orlando, FL, or Vancouver, BC, reporting to the Director of Franchise Marketing Analytics. We seek someone who can elevate our analytics by exploring diverse data sets related to marketing campaigns, applying advanced data analytics techniques, extracting insights, creating visualizations, and communicating recommendations effectively to our marketing partners. Responsibilities
  • Drive conversations with senior leaders, providing structured thinking and analytical recommendations with appropriate detail.
  • Collaborate with marketing partners to understand their needs and deliver data analyses that support decision-making, improving marketing performance and building trust.
  • Take initiative, identify opportunities for business impact, and drive strategic change.
  • Approach analyses independently with structured, strategic planning before data exploration.
  • Query and explore data from internal and third-party sources across marketing channels like video, social media, websites, email, etc., to find meaningful insights.
  • Create compelling data visualizations and presentations to tell stories and influence business decisions, distilling complex insights into accessible formats.
  • Mentor and advise other analysts to enhance their analyses and provide constructive feedback.
  • Work collaboratively across a global team, prioritizing teamwork.
  • Manage multiple complex projects involving data collection, analysis, and application.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM or economics.
  • Over 2 years of relevant analytical experience managing processes and translating data findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Experience managing stakeholder relationships, especially with senior leadership.
  • Knowledge of statistics, probability, and hypothesis testing.
  • Strong SQL skills for querying complex datasets from multiple sources.
  • Proficiency in R or Python preferred.
  • Ability to operationalize abstract questions into quantitative investigations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong communication skills for project updates, cross-team collaboration, and storytelling with data.
  • Enthusiasm for challenging thinking and promoting meaningful change.
  • Positive attitude towards problem-solving and obstacle removal.
