The Ottawa Real Estate Board is seeking a Data Analyst and Project Manager for a critical role. This position focuses on analyzing real estate market trends and overseeing projects to improve member services. Candidates should possess analytical skills, project management experience, and a relevant degree. Data Analyst and Project Manager (1 Year Contract)
The Data Analyst & Project Manager plays a critical role in driving data-informed decision-making while ensuring smooth execution of projects that enhance member services, operational efficiency, and strategic goals.
This position involves analyzing and interpreting real estate market trends, membership data, and other performance metrics, with the goal of enhancing OREB’s suite of offerings to our members. Simultaneously, the role oversees implementation of key projects, including technology implementations and member / brokerage engagement initiatives, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and with adequate user acceptance testing.
By combining analytical expertise with project management skills, this role supports the association’s mission to optimize real estate professionals’ success, enhance member experiences / services, and improve operational effectiveness through data-driven strategies and well-managed projects.
This is a one-year contract with the possibility to transition to permanent full-time position.
Major Responsibilities
Collect, clean, and analyze real estate market data, membership trends, and financial reports to provide strategic insights.
Lead and oversee association projects, including technology upgrades, new service rollouts, and member engagement initiatives.
Identify and implement data-driven tools to streamline operations and enhance member services.
Support IT and Member Support teams as required.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent on-the-job experience in Business Administration, Data Science, Real Estate, Economics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in data analysis, project management, or a related role.
Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Python, Tableau, or Power BI).
Strong understanding of agile and waterfall project management methodologies is preferred.
