Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Data Analyst to join our Enterprise Data Solutions team in Canada. You will help build integrated, reliable, and scalable data solutions to support decisions across the organization, working with Salesforce, Dayforce, and Greenhouse.

The role is hybrid with three days in-office to enable collaboration. You will analyze data, gather requirements, design data models, validate data transformations, and test integrations.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, business systems analysis, data integration, or related technology role.
  • Strong SQL skills with experience querying and analyzing relational data.
  • Experience with enterprise applications such as Salesforce, Dayforce, Greenhouse, or similar CRM, ATS, HRIS, or SaaS platforms.
  • Knowledge of relational data modelling concepts and data integration principles.
  • Experience with REST APIs testing, including JSON and Postman.
  • Strong data validation, reconciliation, and quality analysis.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to document requirements, data mappings, testing activities, and technical processes.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery practices and software development lifecycles.
  • Experience with Power BI or other reporting platforms.
  • Experience with Python or another scripting language.
  • Exposure to cloud-based data platforms and data warehouses.
  • Experience with enterprise data in HR, recruiting, CRM, finance.
  • Financial services or regulated industry experience.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and profile data across enterprise systems to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into data solutions.
  • Support design and development of scalable data models and data structures for reporting, analytics, and integrations.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and application teams to define and validate data transformation rules.
  • Test and validate REST APIs, integrations, and data flows between business applications and data platforms.
  • Perform data quality, reconciliation, and validation activities to ensure accuracy and completeness of information.
  • Develop and execute test cases for data mappings, APIs, and end-to-end integration processes.
  • Document data models, mappings, integration requirements, and technical processes.
  • Participate in Agile delivery activities, including testing, defect resolution, and release validation.
  • Help identify opportunities to improve data usability, consistency, and operational efficiency.

What You Will Do

What You Bring

The starting salary for this position is $110,000 - $130,000. The starting salary provided reflects the base salary for this position as required by legislation. In addition, there is an annual performance bonus which contributes to the total compensation of this position. Further questions may be directed to the HR team during the interview process.
