Overview

Our client, a Top 5 Canadian Bank, is looking to hire a Professional - Business Analyst - Entry for a 12-month contract (with potential extension or conversion to FTE). This is a hybrid position based in Toronto, with in-office work required every Monday and the first Friday of each month.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Contingent Workforce Program (CWP) within the HR Process Delivery team through business analysis, project coordination, reporting, and process improvement activities.
  • Manage inquiries and escalations received in the Contingent Workforce Program mailbox, triaging and investigating issues to ensure timely resolution.
  • Generate reports and dashboards based on business needs, both on an ad-hoc and recurring basis.
  • Onboard contingent workers manually in Workday, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with governance standards.
  • Maintain and update program-related documentation on SharePoint, ensuring proper record management and version control.
  • Support the delivery of strategic projects, document current and future state processes, and partner on change management initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal partners, including Identity Admin, Business Effectiveness, and Optimization teams.
  • Track performance metrics and analyze data to identify opportunities for process efficiency and continuous improvement.
  • Communicate proactively with stakeholders to align on deliverables, timelines, and updates.
Must-Have Skills
  • 2+ years of experience in a business analysis or HR-related role within a large corporate or banking environment.
  • Proven experience analysing current processes, identifying inefficiencies, and recommending process improvements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated stakeholder management experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and report generation.
  • Experience managing shared mailboxes and handling inquiries, escalations, and stakeholder communication.
  • High level of technical acumen and comfort working across multiple systems.
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Experience with Workday or Enterprise Content Management (ECM) systems.
  • Familiarity with HR process delivery, governance, and reporting best practices.
