Givebridge in Toronto is seeking a curious Data Analyst to support analytics and reporting. You will work with the BI Lead and cross-functional teams to understand what the data shows and why it happens, while ensuring data quality and reliable dashboards.

The role focuses on reporting, data validation, and business analysis; you’ll write SQL queries, clean and join data from multiple sources, and translate findings into actionable insights for leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a quantitative field.
• 1–2 years of data analysis, BI, or reporting experience.
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Strong Excel skills with formulas, pivots, lookups, and data manipulation.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Zoho Analytics.

About the Role

We are looking for a curious, detail-oriented Data Analyst to support our growing analytics and reporting needs.You will work closely with the Business Intelligence Lead and cross-functional teams including Field Operations, Client Services, Finance, and leadership. The role combines reporting, data quality, and business analysis, with a strong focus on understanding not only what is happening in the data, but why.

What You’ll Do

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify trends and anomalies, and investigate changes in business performance.
• Conduct root-cause analysis by drilling into performance across clients, campaigns, markets, offices, teams, and individual representatives.
• Work with Field Operations and Client Services to validate findings and understand the operational drivers behind performance.
• Support the development and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and analytical tools.
• Write and maintain SQL queries to extract, clean, join, aggregate, and analyze data.
• Prepare, import, clean, transform, and reconcile datasets from multiple sources.
• Perform regular data-quality checks and investigate missing, duplicated, inconsistent, or unexpected records.
• Validate reports and analytical outputs before distribution and support processes that improve data accuracy and reliability.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis to answer business questions and support decision-making.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• 1-2 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, reporting, or a related role.
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Strong Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and data manipulation.
• Experience with a BI/visualization platform such as Power BI, Tableau, or Zoho Analytics.
• Understanding of data cleaning, joins, aggregations, segmentation, and KPI analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate findings clearly and collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.

Nice to Have:

Experience with Zoho Analytics, Python, APIs/workflow automation, or CRM, fundraising, financial, sales, or transaction data.

• Salary Range: $50,000–$70,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
