Job summary

Rittal Limited in Canada (Mississauga) is seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to collect, analyze, and interpret data to support business decision-making and identify trends.

You will develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs, translate business requirements into analytical solutions, and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a Data Analyst or similar analytical role.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with SQL for querying and analyzing data.
  • Experience creating dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business improvement.
  • Translate business requirements into data analysis and reporting solutions.
  • Create visualizations and presentations to communicate insights effectively.
  • Perform data cleansing, transformation, and quality assurance activities.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytical needs.
  • Support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning initiatives.
  • Develop and document data definitions, processes, and reporting standards.
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with organizational policies.
  • Collect POS reports from distributors and provide a sales summary
  • Respond to German headquarters’ inquiries by identifying the information sources to be used
  • Automate, streamline and further develop report templates, reporting processes and infrastructure
  • Update pricing in SAP, maintain discounts and generate customer price lists.
  • Maintain and updates sales territories and representative assignments as required.
