Job summary

Maxfield LP is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join the IT team and advance the enterprise data and analytics environment. You will transform data into meaningful insights to support strategic decisions across the organization.

You'll work with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Lakehouse, OneLake, Synapse Analytics, and Power BI to design data models, dashboards, and KPIs. The role emphasizes governance, security, and cross‑functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science; Business Intelligence; Information Systems; Business Analysis; or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Business Intelligence; Data Analytics; or Data Warehouse environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, Synapse Analytics, Power BI; DAX and Power Query.
• Strong expertise in data modelling; data warehouse architecture; and ETL/ELT processes.
• Advanced SQL skills; Experience with Python and PySpark.
• Proven ability to gather and analyze business requirements across multiple business units and stakeholder groups.
• Experience managing access and security within Power BI and Azure environments; RBAC and RLS.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the analysis, design, and delivery of BI solutions across multiple business units.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into specifications.
• Contribute to the evolution of the enterprise data warehouse and analytics ecosystem within Azure.
• Design and optimize data models; ETL/ELT processes; and data integration workflows.
• Develop interactive dashboards, reports, and KPIs using Power BI.
• Ensure data integrity, quality, governance, and security across the organization.
• Collaborate with developers, IT teams, and stakeholders to deliver scalable analytics solutions.
• Participate in testing, validation, deployment, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support strategic projects focused on improving operational performance and decision-making.

What You'll Be Working On

What We're Looking For

• Experience integrating data from APIs (REST/SOAP) is considered an asset;
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with excellent attention to detail;
• Highly autonomous; organized; and self‑motivated;
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams;
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
