The Information Technology Services (IT Services) department is looking for an experienced IT professional to take a leading role in developing critical data pipelines and dashboards to drive data-driven decision making throughout the university. The Data Analyst will work with our experienced team of data professionals to define, develop, implement and support our critical data platform services. This role is essential to the success of the ECRM (Constituent Relationship Management) program by cleaning, defining and transforming data into meaningful models and visualizations to serve as the life blood of our organization.
The incumbent will be a vital member of the ECRM and Data team, coordinating with internal and external technical subject matter experts to transform requirements into key data capabilities for enterprise data and analytics. The Data Analyst is a detailed oriented person who easily adapts to change and is excited to build new capabilities with leading edge technologies.
This position builds databases, data pipelines, and dashboards, and performs queries to generate relevant information, and interpret and communicate results. This position analyzes and makes recommendations to improve database, query, and report functioning. This position designs and implements data discipline, quality assurance, data sharing, and legislative compliance. This position also updates and maintains the data catalogue and metadata repository.
