Job summary

Princeton IT Services, Inc. seeks an experienced Data & AI Solution Architect to design enterprise data models and conversational AI architectures for a modern data platform in Canada.

You will guide HUB & SPOKE teams, promote enterprise standards, and lead architecture reviews, workshops, and coaching to deliver trusted, scalable data products across the organization.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in enterprise solution architecture or modern cloud data platforms.
• Strong hands-on experience with Databricks, dbt, Unity Catalog, SQL, and Python.
• Deep understanding of dimensional modelling, semantic modelling, Medallion Architecture, and data product design.
• Experience designing enterprise data architectures and reusable solution patterns.
• Strong knowledge of modern data engineering and analytics architectures.
• Experience designing trusted, governed, scalable, and self-service data platforms.
• Knowledge of semantic layers and architectures supporting conversational AI and AI-driven analytics.
• Ability to translate business and enterprise architecture requirements into practical technical designs.
• Experience leading architecture reviews, design workshops, and technical discussions. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to guide cross-functional delivery teams.
• Ability to work independently and provide technical leadership across multiple teams and initiatives.

About The Role

We are seeking experienced Data & AI Solution Architects to support the design of enterprise data models and conversational AI architecture for a modern data platform.

Working within the Enterprise Architecture team, you will design enterprise data modelling and conversational AI architectures that enable trusted data and AI analytics across the organization. The primary focus will be on reusable data modelling standards, solution architecture patterns, semantic engineering frameworks, and conversational AI capabilities using Databricks.
