Qualifications

Job description
POSITION GOAL:

  • Creates, publishes, and monitors Engineering reports through PowerBi, ensuring that it is modeled by a common data structure that satisfies the functional requirements of the area, and supports overall business objectives
  • Supports the optimization of business systems internal to Engineering and as affected, cross functionally through the process of continuous improvement

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Creates, maintains and publishes Engineering PowerBi business reports
  • Develops, maintains and improves Engineering SharePoint sites and Visual Studio programs. Responsible for the training of affected personnel
  • Participates in and supports Engineering process improvement projects, system upgrades and modifications, to ensure continuity of data integrity, and optimal use of system functionality,
  • Analyze and identify departmental business system processes for improved automation and reporting
  • Incorporate automation into Engineering business systems data collection for reporting purposes
  • Creates and maintains process documents pertaining to the creation and maintenance of PowerBi reports, SharePoint sites, Visual Studio programs, etc

Requirements

  • Degree / diploma in a related business systems discipline
  • 2-3 years' experience in data analysis/report development.
  • Experience in the design/development of SharePoint sites, PowerBi reports, Visual Studio, Visual Basic, Power Query
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Travel Requirement: Less than 5% of the time
