Multimatic in Newmarket, Ontario is seeking a Damper Assembly Technician to contribute to damping system production. You will assemble dampers and suspension modules, test designs, and validate assemblies to meet performance specs.

You will document results, perform tear downs, conduct root cause analysis, and support APQP/DFMEA processes while collaborating with engineering to improve manufacturability and cost effectiveness.

Qualificações

• Completion of a 2- or 3-year college diploma in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and mathematical knowledge.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and tolerancing.
• Knowledge of GD&T and instrumentation basics.
• Proficient with MS Office and data reporting tools.
• Willingness to travel domestically.

Responsabilidades

• Assemble dampers and suspension modules per print and spec.
• Test new and existing damper designs and validate assembly.
• Prepare tear-downs, root cause analysis and reports.
• Advise APQP/DFMEA teams on design issues and cost improvements.
• Interact with tooling/process engineering to ensure manufacturability.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and follow safety policies.
