Dami Sushi Japanese Restaurant is seeking a F/T Restaurant Manager

• NOC Job Code/Title: 60030 - Restaurant Manager

Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

Wage: $29.00~$31.00/hour (depending on experience)

Number of Positions: 1

Work Location: 10-4890 Rutherford Road, Nanaimo, BC V9T 4Z4

Job Duties:

1. Manage and assess the overall functioning of restaurant operations, ensuring management of food and beverage services
2. Determine the variety of services to be provided and establish the corresponding operational guidelines and procedures
3. Arrange agreements with suppliers to procure food and other necessary supplies
4. Recruit staff and oversee staff training
5. Develop and manage work schedules to ensure optimal staff performance and operational efficiency
6. Keep track of inventory levels and revenue, making necessary adjustments if needed
7. Address customer complaints and ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines

Job Requirements:

1. Experience: 2-3 years of experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience, are required
2. Education: Completion of secondary school is required
