Job summary

Amalgamated Dairies Limited (ADL) is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead warehousing, procurement, inventory control, transportation, and logistics across its Summerside operations. This hands-on role reports to the Director of Business Development and interfaces with production, sales, finance, QA, and distribution to optimize costs, service levels, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• SCMP designation is an asset.
• Progressive experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, or operations.
• Experience in food manufacturing or dairy distribution preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead supply chain strategies aligned to objectives.
• Lead procurement, warehousing, inventory control, and transportation.
• Establish and monitor KPIs for inventory, service levels, costs, and supplier performance.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and cost reduction.
• Oversee inbound/outbound transportation and carrier coordination.
• Optimize routes, freight utilization, and transportation efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with production, sales, finance, QA, and distribution teams.
