Job summary

Agropur is seeking an Innovation and Product Development Specialist to lead product and process innovation, development, and technical service activities. You will drive innovation, cost reduction, portfolio optimization, and collaborate with customers and internal teams to bring new products to market at competitive costs.

Responsibilities include supervising development projects from ideation to commercialization, maintaining product specs, and supporting manufacturing sites with process

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology, Biotechnology Engineering, Microbiology, Nutrition Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Research & Development or Product Development within the food manufacturing industry.
• Experience in the dairy industry is an asset.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in both French and English.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, supervise and execute product and process development projects from ideation to commercialization.
• Lead innovation, cost-reduction, portfolio optimization, and product development activities.
• Collaborate with customers and internal/external stakeholders to address inquiries.
• Provide technical support to categories and manufacturing sites for cost optimization and process performance improvements.
