Choices Market Burnaby Crest is seeking a dependable Dairy Lead Hand to join our team. You will stock and rotate Dairy products, merchandise sale items, analyze sales, and manage stock orders while delivering friendly customer service.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable in a cold retail environment, capable of lifting up to 70 lbs, and willing to work varied daytime shifts including evenings and weekends. Wage: 19.25/hr.

Qualifications

• Retail dairy department experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves and rotate products in the Dairy department.
• Merchandise products and ensure sale items are well represented.
• Analyze sales and order stock accordingly.
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries.
• Ensure coolers are clean and well organized.
• Follow OH&S requirements.
• Receive products and keep Dairy retail areas clean and presentable.

The Dairy Lead Hand’s responsibilities include:

• - stocking shelves and rotating products in the Dairy department;
• - merchandising products and ensuring that items on sale are well represented;
• - analyzing sales and ordering stock accordingly;
• - responding promptly and professionally to customer inquiries;
• - ensuring coolers are clean and well organized;
• - following all occupational health and safety requirements; and
• - receiving products and keeping Dairy retail areas clean and presentable.

This is a full time position with predominantly daytime shifts, however, applicants will ideally be available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
