Job Duties:

1. Feed and tend livestock, poultry and other animals
2. Milk animals such as cows and goats, manually or with a machine
3. Sort, brand and handle animals
4. Maintain or assist in the maintenance of facilities and farm infrastructure including cleaning stables, barns, barnyards and pens
5. Assist with breeding activities
6. May monitor health of animals and provide care
7. May prepare animals for transportation
8. May operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
