Role D365 Functional Business Analyst

Designation C2 Manager

Location Toronto Canada

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather analyze and document functional requirements for support tickets minor enhancements and change requests within the D365 CE environment
  • Work with technical teams to translate business needs into feasible D365 CE configurations workflows and automation using Power Platform tools
  • Participate in incident triage root cause analysis and resolution planning Ensure business requirements are accurately reflected in support and enhancement activities
  • Maintain and prioritize the AMS backlog in collaboration with product owners and delivery leads Facilitate grooming sessions and support sprint planning for minor releases
  • Maintain uptodate documentation including process flows functional specifications and user stories Contribute to knowledge base articles and training materials for end users
  • Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams ensuring clear communication of requirements timelines and impacts
  • Support change control processes for scope adjustments
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within the AMS scope
  • Recommend enhancements that improve user experience and system performance
Must Have
  • 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst with at least 3 years focused on Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE CRM
  • Proven experience supporting AMS engagements or longterm CRM support programs
  • Strong understanding of D365 CE modules such as Sales Customer Service and Case Management
  • Experience with Power Platform Power Automate Power Apps and basic data modeling
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • Familiarity with Agile Scrum and DevOps practices
  • Proficiency with tools like Azure DevOps Jira and Confluence
Nice to have
  • Microsoft Certified Dynamics 365 Fundamentals or Functional Consultant Associate is preferred
