Job Description

As a Hitachi Solutions D365 F&O Technical Architect, you will be responsible for:

• Participating in the initial phase of client projects, leading technical workshops, and providing design guidance on extensions, data conversion, environment provisioning, and application integration.
• Working with clients and end users to define technical requirements.
• Leading technical workshops and design sessions with clients and ISV vendors.
• Ensuring technical requirements align with customer goals and long-term strategy.
• Understanding the capabilities and limitations of the technical environments used by the enterprise.
• Ensuring proposed solutions fit within the overall architecture and business logic of Dynamics AX and its modules.
• Aligning RICEW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversion/Data Migration, Extensions) requests.
• Designing all RICEW components technically.
• Reviewing architecture deliverables to ensure quality and traceability.
• Taking overall technical responsibility until system handover.
• Ensuring development guidelines are understood and followed.
• Identifying and communicating cross-area or cross-release issues.
• Participating in quality management reviews.
• Validating designs with stakeholders.
• Applying security practices throughout the project lifecycle.
• Contributing to Hitachi's intellectual property and service initiatives.
• Having deep knowledge of D365 F&O and related technologies like Azure, Power BI, Power Apps, Logic Apps, and Azure Machine Learning.
• Proven ability to deliver business value through technology and communicate at an executive level.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, able to work under dynamic conditions, and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of ERP technical implementation and integration experience with Enterprise clients, including AX 2009 and AX 2012.
• 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, plus 3+ years with Dynamics AX 2012.
• At least two full lifecycle ERP implementations leading a technical workstream.
• Knowledge of LCS, Azure DevOps, SQL, Power BI, C# and .NET framework.
• Experience with D365FO implementation, interfacing, and integration.
• Strong understanding of technical requirements gathering.
• Expertise in Data Management Framework, PowerApps, LogicApps, Azure services, and integration patterns.
• Familiarity with security design, report development, and deployment tools.
• Excellent communication skills and understanding of D365FO functional capabilities.

Background likely includes:

• Development solutions in D365O environment.
• Experience in development roles with D365O.
• Participation in large-scale ERP implementations.
• Business requirements analysis, pre-sales experience, and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of business process mapping and Microsoft preview releases like Dual Write and RSAT.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

Salary Range: USD $115,000 to $185,000

The salary is a guideline; actual compensation depends on responsibilities, experience, skills, and other factors.
