Alberta Theatre Projects invites applications for the D. Michael Dobbin Apprentice program in Calgary. This paid apprenticeship is designed for a high school graduate and runs August through April, with a modest bi-weekly honorarium and season tickets as part of the package.

Apprentices gain hands-on experience across administrative, artistic and production departments, building a network and skills for a future theatre career. The entry is competitive and focuses on competency and potential.

Qualifications

• Paid apprenticeship for high school student graduating from grade 12 this year.
• The apprentice will be employed as full time ATP staff from August through April - including a modest bi-weekly honorarium.
• Participants are graduating high school at end of the 2019/20 school year.

Responsabilités

• Apprentices can expect to work in the administrative, artistic and production departments at ATP, gaining knowledge through practical and job shadowing experiences.
