Major Areas of Responsibility
  • Protects the Company's assets including associates, merchandise, and property.
  • Monitors all ID badges for entry/exit to the facility and warehouse for all associates.
  • Monitors all visitors, vendors, and contractors entry/exit to the facility and warehouse.
  • Controls all sample merchandise, RTV (Return to Vendor), damage, and charity products in accordance with company guidelines. Ensures fire and safety regulations are followed.
  • Monitors FA/BA (Fire Alarms/Burglar Alarms) to ensure proper responses and dispatching.
  • Ensures trailers are properly handled at the gatehouse and in the trailer yards.
  • Responds to emergency situations such as medical, fire, weather, hazardous materials, and security incidents, taking appropriate actions as per Marmaxx policy.
  • Assists in evacuations when necessary.
  • Ensures 0% physical security breakdowns.
  • Conducts ongoing loss prevention, safety, and shrinkage awareness programs for all associates and management staff.
  • Ensures policies and procedures are consistently followed; reports unsafe conditions and acts.
  • Conducts basic investigations into dishonesty, equipment accidents, and personnel injuries.
  • Performs audits to uncover dishonesty, paperwork errors, and shrinkage opportunities, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Maintains investigations of dishonest acts, sabotage, and accidents.
  • Conducts safety and security tours of the distribution center to identify unsafe acts and weaknesses.
  • Identifies accuracy issues and operational execution areas through audits.
Job Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of security and/or Loss Prevention experience.
  • Background in Criminal Justice or related field.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
  • Effective interaction with all management levels and staff.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Computer skills preferred.

Starting pay range: $16.00-$18.35 per hour. Actual pay depends on skills, qualifications, and experience.
