Description
Role Overview :
Consulting Experience Manager supporting Canadian client-facing delivery for Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementation. The successful candidate will lead the solution design, development, and implementation support of end-to-end Dynamics 365 solutions across modules such as F&O, Purchasing, SCM, and MML. Responsible for crafting scalable, secure, and efficient solutions aligned with enterprise architecture and digital transformation goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead architectural design and integration strategy for Microsoft Dynamics 365 (F&O, Purchasing, SCM, MML modules)
- Gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Provide guidance on Dynamics 365 capabilities, limitations, and integration with other systems like Power Platform, Azure, and third-party tools.
- Design and document solution architecture including data models, workflows, customizations, and integrations.
- Mentor development teams and ensure best practices are followed.
- Support pre-sales activities, solution demonstrations, and RFP responses.
- Ensure implementation compliance with Microsoft’s standards, security, and best practices.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Successful candidates should demonstrate experience in:
Solution Design and Implementation :
- Leading functional design of D365 F&O, Purchasing, SCM, MML solutions based on business requirements.
- Designing end-to-end solutions across finance, manufacturing, supply chain, retail, and HR.
- Developing functional specifications for customizations, workflows, and integrations.
- Translating business needs into technical requirements with technical teams.
System Configuration and Customization :
- Overseeing configuration of D365 F&O, Purchasing, SCM, MML modules.
- Designing and implementing complex business processes within these modules.
- Recommending best practices for system configuration and integration.
Data Management and Integration :
- Leading data migration efforts ensuring accurate transfer from legacy systems.
- Ensuring seamless data flow between D365 and other systems like CRM, third-party applications, ERP.
Testing and Quality Assurance :
- Collaborating with testing teams to ensure system stability before go-live.
Continuous Improvement and Innovation :
- Staying updated with D365 updates and recommending improvements.
- Identifying opportunities for process automation and optimization.
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication :
- Working with business stakeholders to align system configurations with business needs.
- Serving as the primary functional contact during projects.
Vendor and Stakeholder Management :
- Collaborating with departments like finance, HR, purchasing to ensure process alignment.
- Resolving system-related issues collaboratively.
Mentorship & Leadership :
- Mentoring junior consultants and team members.
- Promoting best practices and leading by example.
Skills & Qualifications :
- 7-9 years of hands-on experience with D365 F&O, Purchasing, SCM, MML modules in a client-facing role.
- Deep knowledge of core finance, procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, retail processes.
- Experience configuring and using these modules.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and collaborate across teams.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
