Job description

Consulting experience manager supporting Canadian client facing delivery for D 365 implementation. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Purchasing & Supply Chain Manager (SCM) is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing supply chain and procurement solutions within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform. This role will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their supply chain and purchasing processes, define requirements, and deliver end-to-end solutions that enhance operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and visibility. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in Dynamics 365 SCM, with a strong understanding of procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution operations. Here’s a typical job description for this role

Skills & Qualifications Required:

  • Minimum of 7-9 years of prior D-365 Purchasing, SCM, MML modules with hand-on project delivery experience as
    functional consultant in client facing capacity
  • Proven track record of leading successful implementations and optimizations of Dynamics 365 SCM, specifically in the
    areas of purchasing, inventory management, and logistics.
  • Experience with large-scale enterprise supply chain management projects, ideally in manufacturing, distribution, or retail
    environments.

Functional Expertise:

  • Deep knowledge of core Dynamics 365 SCM functionality, including procurement, vendor management, inventory
    management, warehouse management, transportation, and logistics.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain best practices and business processes related to procurement, inventory control,
    demand forecasting, and order fulfillment.
  • Knowledge of integration patterns and processes within the Microsoft Dynamics ecosystem, including Finance and
    Operations (F&O), Power Platform, and third-party applications.

Technical Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with system integration concepts, data migration, and APIs for connecting external systems with Dynamics 365
    SCM.
  • Understanding of basic configuration and customization concepts in Dynamics 365 SCM, such as custom workflows,
    alerts, and reports.
  • Knowledge of Power BI for reporting and dashboard development, as well as Power Automate for process automation.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical
    stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to identify process improvements and implement solutions.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external vendors effectively to deliver results.
