Air Liquide Electronicsinnovative electronic materials respond to increasingly challenging customer demands for improved mobility, connectivity, computing power and energy consumption. We offer ultra pure carrier gases, a wide range of specialty gases and advanced precursor molecules, enabling equipment for safe distribution, purification and on-line purity control. On site, manufacturers rely on our expertise in providing full management of these gases, advanced molecules and equipment and in helping to continuously improve production processes.


Electronic Specialty Gases (ESG) is a focused product line within the larger Air Liquide Electronics (ALE) organization that specializes in providing a diverse portfolio of highly purified specialty gases to our customers. The ESG product line is poised for strong growth over the coming years as leading semiconductor companies are making multi-billion dollar investments to expand manufacturing capacity in the United States and globally. The Morrisville PA plant is expanding its chemical process engineering and technical team to ensure it is well poised for these growth opportunities.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Responsibilities

  • Select the proper packaging for a given product or order

  • Inspect containers per DOT regulations and Air Liquide SOPs

  • Set up, operate, and monitor product trans-fill systems for pure inert gases and inert gas mixtures

  • Perform the necessary fill calculations for weight and pressure additions

  • Record all required product fill data

  • Scan containers and report any issues

  • Recover products from cylinders and detox as applicable

  • Maintain adequate raw material inventory level and report month end quantities

  • Maintain adequate finished product inventory levels

  • Retrieve finished product from stock to fulfill customer orders and other requirements

  • Follow written protocols and determine proper preparation procedures for a given product grade and service

  • Perform minor inspections and/or preventive maintenance on equipment and may need supervision or direction when to initiate proper escalation of equipment issues

  • Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures

  • Maintain housekeeping of the general work area

  • Understand and follow SOPs and be able to provide potential improvement ideas

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or equivalent and 1+ years experience in manufacturing or industrial environment, OR equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Adapt to a teamwork environment

  • Must be able to lift at least 50lbs

  • Work safely at all times and ensure a safety culture and a safe working environment

  • Strong mechanical skills and aptitude

  • Ability to accurately perform basic arithmetic calculations

  • Preferred: experience in the semiconductor or chemical/specialty gas field, military technical/mechanical rating or nuclear field, or equivalent industry

The hourly rate range for this position in Pennsylvania is $22.00 to $24.00
