Job summary

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

Position Description As Cycle Counter, you will play a role in maintaining accurate inventory and supporting efficient production operations. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work within defined takt/cycle times. You’ll ensure materials are properly tracked, counted, and recorded while contributing to a clean and organized work environment through 6S practices.

What You Will Do
  • Perform tasks within established takt/cycle times to meet production goals and customer demand without compromising quality or safety.
  • Physically count components and parts to reconcile with in‑house inventory and ensure accuracy.
  • Adhere to all safety requirements in the work area and maintain compliance with company standards.
  • Maintain workplace organization through 6S practices (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, Safety) to create a clean, efficient, and safe environment.
  • Notify appropriate personnel of material shortages or overages promptly to prevent production delays and maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Update inventory transactions in the computer system to ensure real‑time data integrity.
  • Conduct cycle counts and enter daily production numbers to support accurate reporting and operational planning.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and perform additional tasks as assigned, inculding the opportunity for overtime.
