Job description

As companies pivot toward a digital business model and increased use of AI, more data is generated and shared among organizations, partners, and customers. We play an integral role in helping our clients develop transformation strategies focused on security, efficiently integrate and manage new or existing technology systems to deliver continuous operational improvements, increase cybersecurity investments, and detect, respond to, and remediate threats.

As a cybersecurity generalist at PwC, you will focus on providing comprehensive security solutions across various domains, maintaining the protection of client systems and data. You will apply a broad understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices to address diverse security challenges effectively.

Meaningful work you’ll be part of

As a Director, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Developing deployment architecture, use-cases, and technical solutions for client cybersecurity challenges offered by Palo Alto suite of products (Prisma Access, Cortex Cloud, or XSIAM) tailored to clients across multiple industries.
  • Deep technical knowledge of one or more Palo Alto offerings such as Prisma Access, Cortex Cloud, and XSIAM.
  • Hands-on experience with implementation and operationalization of Palo Alto’s suite of products.
  • Managing and training the team on the design, development, integration, and operationalization of Palo Alto’s products.
  • Driving sales and building a pipeline by establishing credibility with clients regarding Palo Alto products.
  • Engaging in business development activities throughout the opportunity lifecycle, including lead generation, opportunity tracking, pre-sales presentations, technical demos, client & engagement risk assessments, bid management, proposal writing, and contract management.
  • Project management and delivery, including strategy, assessment, design, implementation, and optimization of cloud security, network security, SIEM, and SOAR solutions involving Palo Alto offerings.
  • Managing engagement planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Contributing to practice development, including delivery methodology, training, and marketing materials.
  • Continuing professional development as a Palo Alto subject-matter expert.
  • Handling multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborating with other Cybersecurity & Privacy teams on non-Palo Alto projects as needed.
  • Coaching and training junior team members to develop their skills and integrate into the Cyber Engineering team.
Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve
  • Deep hands-on architectural knowledge of Palo Alto products, including Cortex, Prisma Access, XSIAM, Prisma Cloud, etc.
  • Proven success with cloud security, network security, SIEM, and SOAR solutions.
  • Experience in defining and assessing Data Security strategies, architecture, and practices, including technology implementation.
  • Designing and implementing Data Security solutions aligned with business and threat drivers.
  • Implementing Data Security tools within complex environments through requirements gathering, testing, and rollout.
  • Proven problem-solving skills focused on tool development and implementation.
  • Evaluating new solutions and providing business cases for skill and vendor development.
  • Project planning, engagement management, and budget management skills.
  • Vendor/partner management, including NDAs, joint relationships, and engagement with contractors and partners.
  • Relevant certifications such as PCCSA, PCNS, PCSAE, PCCSE, PCSAE, CISSP, and cloud security certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP).
