As we continue to grow, we are looking for a L2 - Security, Privacy and Data Governance Lead to join HLB System Solutions team.

About The Role

As a L2 - Security, Privacy and Data Governance Lead, in a professional services role, you will be responsible for focusing on developing and implementing policies and procedures to protect data and ensure compliance with privacy regulations. You will ensure that the organization adheres to data compliance regulations, reduces overall risk, and maintains the trust of clients and stakeholders.

Location: Guelph, Ontario.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Work Mode: Hybrid

What You Will Do

1. One Time Consulting Services on Privacy and Security incidents
2. Policy Writing and Training
3. Recurring Service Planning Delivery and Management (Program Management for Privacy as a Service and Information Governance programs)
4. Project Based Privacy and Information Governance Services (Privacy Impact Assessments, Data Classification Work)
5. Information Structure Development (Classification Structure and Role Base Access development)
6. Lead Cyber Security assessments, report writing and presentations to the client

What We Are Looking For

1. Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. Requires a minimum 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, data privacy, compliance, or IT risk management.
3. Requires IAPP CIPP/C certification at minimum. Additional IAPP certs and Privacy experience will be favored.
4. Experience in a mid-level management position, focusing on developing and implementing policies and procedures to protect data and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
