The opportunity

As an IGA Manager, you will lead IGA advisory and implementation projects, assisting clients with assessment, technical design, and deployment of Identity and Access Management solutions. The ideal candidate should have experience leading IAM strategies, managing technology changes, and delivering projects in cloud and on-premises environments. Familiarity with risk frameworks, compliance, and audit controls for cloud and on-premises resources is essential. Experience with integrating solutions on platforms like SailPoint, Saviynt, and Microsoft Entra ID Governance is preferred.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, architect, design, and develop IGA solutions.
  • Provide subject-matter expertise on IGA topics for cloud and on-premises enterprise technologies.
  • Lead enterprise governance processes and promote IAM standards.
  • Create effective architecture solutions that are scalable and aligned with strategic goals.
  • Develop and maintain security policies and standards, especially regarding cloud services.
  • Manage the delivery of IGA projects, collaborating with stakeholders and project teams.
  • Review and manage technical IGA roadmaps.
  • Deliver security architecture expertise for IGA solutions implementation.
  • Develop recommendations to address issues caused by processes, threats, and technology changes.
  • Implement customized use cases and governance frameworks.
Skills And Attributes For Success
  • 8-10+ years of experience with IGA platforms such as SailPoint, Saviynt, Microsoft Entra ID Governance.
  • Ability to develop long-term identity governance strategies.
  • Experience managing end-to-end IGA implementation projects.
  • Proficiency in application onboarding, compliance requirements, and provisioning.
  • Hands-on experience with lifecycle management, onboarding, access requests, provisioning, password management, RBAC, and risk models.
  • Understanding of access administration, enforcement, and governance best practices.
  • Experience integrating with authoritative sources like Workday, Banner, SuccessFactors, and provisioning into systems like LDAP and Active Directory.
  • Strong knowledge of IAM technologies, frameworks, and business case development.
  • Experience with regulatory compliance such as GDPR, HIPAA, SOX.
  • Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience setting up SoD and recertification processes.
  • People management skills and stakeholder engagement experience.
  • Project management proficiency with methodologies like Agile and Waterfall.
  • Knowledge of development tools such as Java, Webservices, SQL.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools and experience with cloud environments like AWS and Azure.
  • Knowledge of industry standards (NIST, DIACCC).
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
To qualify for the role you must have
  • Hands-on experience across all phases of IAM solution implementation.
  • Proven ability to optimize existing IGA solutions.
Ideally, you’ll also have
  • Canadian Federal Security clearance (a plus).
  • Security certifications like CISSP, CISA, CISM, or architecture certifications like TOGAF, SABSA.
