Qualifications

The opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Manager to join our Financial Services Cybersecurity team in Toronto. You will collaborate with industry professionals, applying leading practices to better manage cybersecurity capabilities across people, processes, and technology. You will gain insights into designing and operating cybersecurity programs in various industries and learn how to develop measurable, sustainable programs to keep pace with the evolving cybersecurity landscape.

This role is within our IT Consulting team, which helps clients optimize operations by shifting focus from transaction-level controls to value-driven decision support and analytics.

Your key responsibilities
  • Participate in multiple client engagement teams, delivering and leading cybersecurity and IT risk projects.
  • Establish and nurture internal and external relationships.
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing engagements and escalate as appropriate.
  • Anticipate and address risks, ensuring high-quality work reviewed by senior team members.
  • Willingness and ability to travel are required.

  • Deliver quality client services, monitor progress, manage risks, and keep stakeholders informed.
  • Build relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels.
  • Demonstrate technical expertise and professional knowledge, with the ability to learn quickly.

  • Understand complex information systems and communicate findings effectively.
People Responsibilities

Qualifications
  • Undergraduate or master’s degree in Information Security, Business Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
  • 8-10 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, including cloud security, network security, identity management, threat detection, incident response, and related areas.
  • Expertise with cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and methodologies.
  • Experience with risk assessments and control testing.
  • Strong analytical skills and knowledge of data analytics methods.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CISM.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity in Industrial Control Systems and Operational Technology is a plus.
